Biographical Info

Jeanyoung Kim, MD specializes in general dermatology. Dr. Kim completed her undergraduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed Internal Medicine residency at University of California, Davis and Dermatology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine where she was chief resident her final year. Dr. Kim is dual-boarded in Internal Medicine and Dermatology and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Kim’s research interests include biomarker discovery in severe drug reactions, cutaneous lymphoma and autoimmune blistering diseases. Dr. Kim has a special interest in biorepositories of inflammatory skin disease and serves as the Primary Investigator for the Weill Cornell Dermatology’s DREAM BIG (Dermatology’s Role in Examining Ailments in Medicine using Biospecimens, Imaging, and Genomics) biospecimen collection initiative. Dr. Kim’s research efforts have earned her grant funding from the NIH-supported multi-institutional Weill Cornell Clinical and Translational Science Center. Dr. Kim is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ. Her practice includes care for patients with HIV/AIDS through the Center for Special Studies at Â鶹´«Ã½¸ßÇå°æ and patients with autoimmune blistering diseases.
